Reviews
Moltzen does well to bring humour and humanity to the demanding role of a damaged but exhausting character who tells of some selfish choices on way to her personal crisis. The hyperbole of her stream of consciousness introductory monologue, for instance, is tempered with some relatable reflections of self.

Kyle McCallion and Vanessa Moltzen were a dynamic duo as Henry Harry and Rosannah Deluce. Both delivering outstanding and emotive performances, and their onstage chemistry was sensational. Well-matched, the actors skilfully managed the rapid-fire dialogue, a wide array of props, and some highly physical blocking. Their American accents were appropriately distinct from one another and remained consistent throughout.

Vanessa Moltzen is delightfully ditzy as Rosannah, but captures perfectly the “pain in her DNA” and her desperation not to become just another “indistinguishable person” in the landscape of life.
These characters have been hurt and both actors show finesse at holding back their performances as the layers are slowly revealed – the ‘brilliant traces’ of their lives, the evidence of their existence, is the damage done and the scars that are left.

Stand-out performances were given by Izzy ( Vanessa Moltzen), playing Beca’s sister, who managed to give a genuine American perspective throughout.

Izzy, played by Vanessa Moltzen, was the perfect late ’90s rocker chick and was a truly beautiful opposite to Becca. She was enviably authentic in her performance.
