Reviews
Luke O’Neill plays Ned’s brother Ben Weeks with a beautiful, gentle compassion.

The brothers’ scenes are so very real and moving. Ned’s desperate need for acknowledgement leads Ben to say, “Agreeing that you were born just the same as I was born isn’t going to save your dying friends!” and Ned retorts “That is EXACTLY what is going to save my dying friends!” O’Neill’s deft touch when he utters to Felix “I wish I’d met you sooner” is a simply heart-wrenching example of the time wasted by some family members in denial or fear.

Completing the cast was Madeleine Little as Doctor Emma Brookner, Luke O’Neill as Ben Weeks and finally, Tom Hardwood and Liam Wallis as multiple characters. They maintained the strong energy of the performance and did justice to a heavy story.

As a professional voice-over artist, it is no surprise that Luke O’Neill shone with his natural Radio Voice. O’Neill expertly executed the low gravitas needed for DeMille, with a jazzy singing voice that suited the era perfectly

O’Neill’s performance was layered, a lynch-pin of the production, especially moving during the funeral at the end.
