Eleonora Ginardi
Biography
Italian-born Eleonora Ginardi is a bilingual performance artist and educator. Eleonora enjoys the art of exploring the creative process. She has trained and performed with many local and some international theatre companies in various disciplines including; physical theatre, Impulse Response Training, Practical Aesthetic, Viewpoints and Butoh. Companies
include; Ad Astra, Brisbane Arts Theatre, Danteatro, DIVE Theatre Collective, heartBeast Theatre, Insideoutside Theatre Company, La Mama theatre, Minola Theatre, OzFrank Theatre, SITI, company, Vangeline Theater, and ZenZenZo Physical theatre.
In 2021 Eleonora performed in The Laramie Project, directed by Michelle Carey where she experienced Verbatim theatre, she also played the Mother in The Monster’s Mother with Insideoutside Theatre Company, directed and written by Angela Witcher. Eleonora has worked on a number of movie sets and featured in Australian wide commercials.
Eleonora is a co-founder and the artistic Director of Danteatro, Italian theatre company. Eleonora also enjoys teaching and coaching the craft of Acting. She established her own Voice and Movement workshops “Viva Voce” which she runs at The Judith Wright Center.
“I have always been a little bit of a dreamer and I have somehow managed to keep pushing my own personal dreams, by taking small steps and not being afraid to fail. ‘I’ve learned that failing is as important as success, as long as you learn from your failures.”
