Chelsea Burton
Biography
Chelsea Burton, a graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium's Bachelor of Musical Theatre program under Professor Paul Sabey, not only commands attention with her vibrant persona, stage presence, and professionalism but also exemplifies a deep commitment to continuous learning and growth in the arts. Excelling as a triple threat, she currently tours with the Grin & Tonic Theatre Troupe, showcasing her versatility in a variety of Shakespearean roles, including performances in "Romeo and Juliet," "Hamlet," and "Macbeth," as well as multiple roles in David Burton's "April's Fool" and "Wisdom". Notably, Chelsea made her debut on cruise ships last year in The Vintage Bells Show's "Boo-doop-di-doo," a modern pop cabaret with a vintage twist, where she stars as "Kitty." Her recent portrayal of Claire in the Brisbane Premiere of "Ordinary Days" received acclaim for Burton's vocal prowess. Chelsea's diverse credits also include lead roles such as Lorraine Fleming & Voice Captain in ‘42nd Street’, Julia in ‘The Wedding Singer’, Cha Cha Understudy/Swing/Ensemble in ‘Grease’, Scream Queen in ‘Elvis’ directed by Baz Luhrmann, and Fiona in Queensland Theatres’ workshop development of 'Round the Twist' with Simon Phillips and Paul Hodge.

Reviews
I’m still chuckling at Chelsea Burton and Liam O’Byrne as star-worshipping, post-show theatre party groupies, snipping in song at the latest stage offering (they also play a range of press reporters and other characters).

Chelsea Burton plays several characters, but as Meg Kincaid, she’s almost irresistible.
