Tommi Civili

Musical Composer

Tommi Civili is a composer and a sound designer with an affinity for the experimental. He doesn’t shy away from out of the box ideas put forward to him, and he has this ability to push and pull ideas with whoever he works with.

Biography

Tommi. Short for Tommaso. An Italian name passed on to him by a higher being. He has dedicated his life to music, and after recently graduating from SAE Creative Institute has sprung into the world of film and theater. Undertaking composition, sound design and sound operation in the latest plays such as Pip Theatre’s Banging Denmark, or the acclaimed experimental horror flick, Baghead.

After a recent induction into the world of Jazz, he’s also been able to create nice sonic backdrops for audiences to appreciate, or even his ability (and love) for rock & roll has helped directors avoid costly APRA licensing by creating a similar atmosphere to popular songs, such as David Bowie or Radiohead.

Tommi Civili enjoys any projects he has the privilege to work on in the creative industries, and has a bright future ahead of him.
