Biography
Sandra is a theatre and film actor, director, producer, children’s entertainer, vocalist, voice over asrtist & events host. She was co-founder and administrator of the Edge Theatre Company with Ron Kelly, has performed Theatre in Education shows in Child Care Centres, Pre-schools and Primary Schools throughout Queensland, has appeared in a number of short films, feature films, television and TVC’s, and toured The Netherlands, England, Wales, and Australia as Sybil Faulty in Faulty Towers, the Dining Experience.
Performing has been a lifelong passion and she has been blessed to have had the chance to work with so many amazing people that form part of our Queensland theatre, film and TV industry, which has allowed her the chance to explore so many different characters and styles of performance from Absurdism to Powerful Dramas, Musical Theatre to Shakespeare, gentle comedies and well-loved classics, and everything in between
She has won several Best Actress awards on the Queensland Festival Circuit for her roles in Blood, Lee, Consumed & Mother, received nominations for Best Actress in The Norman Conquests (Qld Perform Awards) and for Best Performance in a Lead Role for Five Star (QFST Film Awards) and was a Gold Palm Award finalist for Best Actress in a Leading Role for MBTC’s production of Ruby Moon in 2018.

Harman’s manic take on a worried mother left the audience wanting to help her, while her comedic dominance allowed the audience moments to breathe. The chemistry between the performers was electric. It felt as if a wall was taken away from the home of a couple struggling to survive in an awful layer of guilt, with the audience voyeuristically observing their uncontrollable situation.”
