Rebel Lyons
Biography
Rebel Lyons is a wearer of many hats, including performer, producer, writer, emcee, rollerskater, hula hooper, cowboy, beret, and bowler. After getting married and divorced at the age of 24, her one-woman cabaret/comedy show SAME PENIS FOREVER sold out at Adelaide Fringe Festival 2021 and received a 5 star review in The Advertiser. Rebel completed the Harvest Rain musical theatre internship in 2012 and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Drama) - a degree which she now tutors through the Oodgeroo unit, as well as being the Bogan Bingo state representative for QLD. Rebel has competed in the Common People Dance Project since its inauguration in 2019, and in 2022 she will begin coaching under Neridah Waters. She has toured ReBeL BiNgO!, a 3 person Rocky Horror Floorshow, and entertainment for children around Australia. She loves rollerskating, op shopping and watching movies with her foster cats.
