Ad Astra would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land where our theatre is located, the Turrbal and Yuggara people. We pay respect to their Elders past, present and emerging who continue the cultural and spiritual connections to our country. We recognise their contribution to the arts and continued traditions of storytelling.
Ad Astra has quietly woven itself into the tapestry of Brisbane's exciting array of professional theatres.
It has a commitment to produce a wonderful kaleidoscope of Australian and International works. The entire executive team are volunteers who work diligently to creates spaces try to provide opportunites for Queensland creatives to stay in Queensland. We are also dedicated to continuing our mission to showcase Queensland talent across the country and around the world.
